Glasgow City Region Deal

With over £1bn of investment, the Glasgow City Region Deal is one of the largest City Deal's in the UK, covering Glasgow City, East Dumbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dumbartonshire.

The investment will be used to drive innovation and grow businesses, generate private sector investment, create thousands of new jobs, and improve public transport and connectivty.

Glasgow has well-stated ambitions to become Scotland's major 'Smart City' and has embarked on a programme to transform the data collected at a city level into a digital resource, connecting services to citizens directly.

Join us to discuss how the Glasgow City Region deal and other initatives are working towards creating a smarter, digitalised Scotland.

For further information about the conference and sponsorship opportunities please contact Vincenzo Veglia at vincenzo@canongate.org or 0131 561 7352.
